Meet the People



      Most of the people working at the Stanislaus Wildlife Care Center are volunteers, although a few are employees. There is also a Board of Directors that oversees the corporation.

Future Plans

      Each year the Stanislaus Wildlife Care Center cares for more animals than the year before. To keep pace with this growing caseload we must continously upgrade and improve our facilities. That takes money and planning.

History

      The Stanislaus Wildlife Care Center was founded in August 1984 by 6 people with $300 and no facilities.


      Today the membership is well over 1000 and the Center is located on two acres of land along the Tuolumne River in Fox Grove Regional Park. To read about how the SWCC grew from a fledging organization to successful business,
